Resthave Care & Rehabilitation, 408 Maple Avenue, Morrison, observed Memorial Day on Sunday, May 26th, with a heartfelt and moving service in honor of the brave men and women who have served our country. Mrs. Megan Modglin’s third grade class from Morrison’s Northside school, brought smiles and warm hearts to Resthave Care & Rehabilitation in Morrison on Monday, May 19th, as they met their pen pals—residents of the facility—with whom they had been corresponding throughout the school year. The visit marked the culmination of a meaningful intergenerational pen pal project that connected young students with senior residents through the art of letter writing.
